Structure
Valmedica developed a structure adjusted to the Romanian pharmaceutical market, providing a consistent, quick and safe delivery of the products on the whole territory.
Due to the implementation of a quality control system at all levels, the company operates according to the European distribution good practices.
Central warehouse
It is located in Bucharest, inside a building erected in 2001 and designed to be a pharmaceutical warehouse.
The storage area is 1200 2, spread on two floors, amounting to a total volume of 4500 m3.
The central warehouse is provided with all needed facilities (permanent temperature and moisture control and recording systems, air conditioning, dual refrigeration system, fire prevention systems, permanent monitoring and surveillance, integrated Fi-Fo stock management system connected to the import department, invoicing, finance and IT).
There is enough room both for the supplying vehicles and for the parking of own vehicles.
Regional warehouses
There are 5 regional warehouses, located in the major cities: Iasi, Constanta, Craiova, Timisoara and Targu Mures.
Each is appropriately equipped and connected to the central database, and there is a permanent control over the storage conditions and the stocks.
Vehicle fleet
Valmedica owns about sixty vehicles, of which 25 are exclusively used for distribution.
