Valmedica S.A. is one of the major national importers, wholesalers, distributors for pharmaceutical products, OTCs and dermato-cosmetic products.
Valmedica is a subsidiary of Valpharma France and was established in 1993, being as such one of the first importers, wholesalers, distributors of pharmaceutical products established in Romania.
The Valpharma shareholders are as follows:
- Valmon Group (France) with an annual turnover of about USD 100 million.
- TEVA Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (the world's largest producer of generic pharmaceuticals), with an annual turnover of USD 8 billion.
- Bausch & Lomb Group (multinational ophthalmology company), with a turnover of USD 2.5 billion.
